Welcome to Sinapu

Just another bustling city somewhere in Northern California, where the night never ends and something wicked lurks beneath the surface. During the day the city is safer than most, for some reason there doesn't seem to be many petty crimes here. However is it abundant with murders and disappearances. One day someone is there and the next they're gone without any trace. It might be a fair distance from the ocean but there's blood in the air and the predators have come out to play.

The club where every night is a party with dancing, a show and drinking. No one ever questions if the patrons are underage, not even if they drink not even the police. It's the perfect place for anyone to let loose but be careful, the owners don't allow troublemakers in the club. From dusk till dawn the music never stops and the workers are so attractive that they're to die for. Literally.

On the edge of the city is a national forest, some of which encroaches right smack dab in the middle of the city. They have turned this part of the forest into a park, protected by serious private funding but open to all to wander through if they want to take a shortcut through the forest to get home. Natives say that wolves live there and their howls can be heard at night but somehow this story never makes it out of the city so it's suspected to be a false rumor. Don't go walking around here on the night of the full moon though.

Most of the city's access to the ocean is via rocky cliffside, but there is one small haven of beach where people can travel to. To get there one will have to walk partially through the forest for at least an hour but some think it's worth the walk. Sometimes teenagers dare each other to go into the forest at night as sort of rite of passage.

In the heart of the city is a relatively large college campus. With a mix of old and new buildings, students can come to learn about nearly every subject. There are also dormitories for those who come from out-of-state to learn while several surrounding buildings have been converted into frat or sorority houses and host the biggest parties. Luckily most of the surrounding buildings are businesses so there's no one to disturb when those parties go long into the night.

Rumor has it that this old mansion has stood empty and abandoned for at least a hundred years. Nature had been attempting to claim it back but in the past couple of years, someone had fixed it up and there seem to be an entire group of individuals living here now. No one's seen these people but they say the lights are usually on during the night time hours, though not always for very long since most of the people leaving here tend to work the night shift somewhere.

While some people like to speculate on the people who moved into the old mansion, others like to talk about the new build across the city. With gleaming white walls and huge glass windows, people claim that this is the future home is for a huge Hollywood actor though the occupants have yet to move in. It's easy to see why that might be the case considering the security on this place is incredible.
